Awards

Getting involved with Broadside has its rewards.  Apart from the friends you’ll make and the excellent résumé you’ll acquire, working with Broadside puts you in the running for two annual awards.

The Broadsider of the Year Award is given to the staffer who has shown diligence and creativity in approaching the paper and contributed to advancing Broadside’s standards of quality.

The Broadside Designer of the Year Award is given to the Broadside design staffer, whether in print or online, who has shown both dedication and ingenuity in creating vivid, effective design for Broadside.

Both awards typically carry a gift card prize and a statuette.  All Broadside staff members are eligible.
