The George Mason Review is George Mason University’s official peer-reviewed undergraduate research journal, publishing exemplary writing across the curriculum. For over 30 years, The George Mason Review has published original, scholarly works in an effort to reflect and showcase the academic excellence of Mason’s undergraduate student body. By exploring and challenging the boundaries separating disciplines from each other — the humanities from the sciences, the academic from the creative — The George Mason Review serves as a unique platform where scholarship, creativity, and critical thought can co-exist.
The George Mason Review strives to provide its readers with nuanced academic discourse and original methodologies that shed light on complex and previously unrelated subjects. Accordingly, the Review seeks student submissions that offer unique perspectives on our world and accepts scholarly work from any undergraduate major. There is also a cash prize associated with the top three submissions that are selected for publication by the peer review staff. Help the The George Mason Review continue it’s mission of re-visioning scholarship by submitting your research papers for consideration.
